Britt Smith is an Associate in the Litigation department of the Bermuda office of Conyers with experience in trust litigation, restructuring and insolvency, and high-value commercial disputes. Prior to joining Conyers in 2019, she worked for an offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands and Baker McKenzie in Australia. Britt earned her legal qualifications from the University of New South Wales (Juris Doctor, Hons., Class 1) and the Australian National University (Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, and has a specialist accreditation in insolvency law.

Britt has acted for and advised trustees and beneficiaries in contentious trust disputes, as well as creditors, shareholders, directors, limited partnerships, investment managers and liquidators in the offshore financial services market. She has also acted for parties to large cross-border commercial disputes and arbitrations, and is accustomed to managing complex, high-value litigation.
