Jennifer Sangaroonthong is Counsel in the Cayman Islands Corporate practice specialising in investment funds.

Jennifer’s practice focuses primarily on the formation and operation of private funds (both private equity and credit) and the downstream activities undertaken by private funds.  She also routinely advises clients across multiple sectors on a broad range of general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions (public and private), series financing, restructurings, special purpose acquisition companies, joint ventures and general corporate governance.

Additionally, Jennifer advises clients on a wide range of FinTech transactions including advising on the establishment and maintenance of Cayman Islands foundation companies to assist with the oversight and development of blockchain protocols and digital assets.

Prior to joining Conyers, Jennifer was a senior counsel at another leading offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands where she acted for global investment managers and high-profile FinTech clients.  Before that, she was a corporate M&A lawyer at Buddle Findlay in New Zealand.
